New England is situated on the Great Dividing Range of eastern Australia & is a unique environment with cold winters & Summer rainfall which is ideal for superior merino breeding. It is a low risk area for sheep diseases including Ovine Johnes Disease (OJD); New England is a "Protected Area".
The New England Merino Field Days are held every second year with the next event to be held on Friday 12th & Saturday 13th January 2018. The Field Days include visits to some of New England's leading Merino Studs plus more Stud displays at the URALLA
